– The install is not automated but requires a manual step. There is a quite tricky way to get this work done, but i left it to the user as it should be.
– The login module doesn’t work without a gedit-plugin. I’m not sure it could ever be implemented without this.
– There might be possible exceptions to this, I would need to test it.
– The login module currently uses a hardcoded passwd file (and could be extended to use a file from the user-account with the help of gnome-keyring, but I had some issues with that, so this will be left for a separate (but simpler) project).
– The addon is not really intended for other web browsers, but that doesn’t matter.
The addon works by overwriting the gnome-shell-extension-keyring-login.so and gnome-shell-extension-keyring-passwd.so files, and thats it.
