This application is useful for those who study of molecular evolution and comparative genomics. The gamma series method for estimating Ka and Ks is highly accurate and gives reliable estimates when whole sequences rather than only the sequences of selected genes or genes of interest are compared. In the application, sliding window γ-series method is incorporated for setting up the width of the sliding window for the gamma series method.
