How to set a manually created array to be a global array

I’m trying to make an array to be a global array.
I have tried to use the $GLOBALS array, but then I get errors like

Is there a way to set the global array?
I have tried a few things, for example :
$GLOBALS[‘posts’][$i][‘subject’] = $_REQUEST[‘subject’];

$GLOBALS is global from the point you have initialized it in one of your script. Just save your $posts array in a variable (and of course change the name as not to confuse with any of your global variables that have the same name) and you will be fine.

OTK is an experimental and very simple generic GUI library. The idea behind the library is to address a number of limitations of most GUI libraries that are currently available. To begin with, I don’t like many GUI libraries. I think the reason is because they are trying to do too much. They have pretty complex APIs, and their syntax is not particularly expressive.

I think if we don’t like something about our GUI libraries, we have the opportunity to fix it. Otherwise, we are just copying what someone else did.

Features of OTK
Basic UI Widget
The push-button, spin-box, list-box, menu-list, and combo-box are the only basic UI widgets that have built-in support. Also, the pull-down menu, sub-windows, and gadgets are built in.
Static Layout
The default window is a panel. Thus there is no need to set any kind of size and position prior to creation of the window.
Dynamic Layout
Each window is layered to allow the window to expand and shrink as the user arranges the widgets within. Widgets can be moved around within a window by dragging. The window may be resized with a right mouse click on the border. The window may also be moved to a new location on the screen by dragging it.
Abstract Widget
The panel, text-label, text-field-box, button, pull-down menu, list-box, text-form-box, sliders and gadgets are abstract widgets. That is, a widget does not know its parent window (i.e., whether the parent window is panel or gadget) or what type of window the widget will be used with.
Modal Dialogs
Dialog boxes appear in response to user click-downs on the button. Dialog boxes are modal because the user must close the dialog box before the program can continue.

In addition, most Unix-systems have some form of simple widgets. However, none of these approaches is truly portable. The WLINKED window’s user interface and underlying classes are highly restricted by the OS. The other widget toolkits, like AWT, are closely tied to the OS (Sun Java) and were not designed for cross-platform programming.
At the same time, it’s challenging to make a general purpose widget toolkit portable in the cross-platform sense. All previous attempts at generic widget toolkits have suffered from one or more of the following problems
· They are encumbered by asynchronicity
· They are unable to represent common non-rectangular widgets like windows and text editors, as they are defined by the underlying OS.
· They rely on code or other ways of getting the client’s X, Y, and width/height (this is the current status quo for AWT).
